Ownership
____________
On your journey as an owner with Ben Pauling Racing, you will receive a high level of hospitality, communication and above all fun.
We pride ourselves in providing the a first-class owners experience at Naunton Downs. No matter where you are based in the world, we keep you in touch with frequent email updates, send over videos and pictures of your horses, whether they are out on the gallops, in the field or relaxing in their stable.
On race days, we can assist with race day plans to ensure you have an enjoyable day out. After your horse has run you will always receive a full detailed report on your horse’s performance.
We have an 'open yard' policy and are happy to accommadate regular visits to see horses in training. This gives owners, their friends and families the opportunity to talk to Ben directly and meet the team who look after and ride your horse and also become a part of the team.
If you are new to racing and don't know where to start, our experienced team can help you on your way.
Sole Ownership
This type of ownership is when you are the sole owner and therefore it is up to you to pay all the bills and in return you receive all the prize money. You can choose the colours that your horses race in and if the horse is not named, you can even choose that too!
Partnerships and Syndication
Partnerships and syndicates are a very popular form of ownership. It is great for people to split the costs and own a racehorse with your friends, work colleagues or even family. All the bills can be split equally between the syndicate, and it is therefore a very cost-effective way to own a horse. Syndicates typically consist of two or more people.
Leasing
Leasing is a good way to own a horse without paying for the horse itself. It means that you only pay the costs of its training fees and other bills. Leasing can be for the whole season or even for one race. It can involve one person or multiple owners. This type of ownership is enjoyable and becoming very popular.
