HEAD TRAVELLING PERSON
Ben Pauling Racing are looking for a Travelling Head Person to join our brilliant Festival and Grade 1 winning team.
The successful applicant will be a responsible and diligent team player. They must be meticulous, working to the highest of standards. As an outward facing representative of our team they will need to be a good communicator, be tidy in their presentation and be able to keep a cool head in pressurised situations.
Job role includes but not limited to:
- Sole responsibility of the Racing Tack Room
- Organisation (packing and un-packing) racing gear for both horses and staff
- Racing laundry
- Driving horses for racedays etc.
- Some overseas travel where required
- Some yard duties when not racing
- Care of our lorries; re-fuelling, regularly washing and reporting any faults
- Record keeping for staff overtime on racedays and mileage
- Saddling horses on racedays
In return we are offering the opportunity to earn a first class salary with added bonuses and pool money throughout the season. Job would suit a rider or non-rider. Applicants must be over 21 years of age, have a clean full driving license and have experience in racing yards as well as regularly travelling horses.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working individual to join our Festival and Grade 1 winning team in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Applicants must have experience in a working equestrian environment and be a capable rider with the ability and knowledge to ride work on fit Thoroughbreds.
This is a full time role which includes all usual yard duties and accompanying horses to the races.
The opportunity to earn a first class salary with added bonuses and pool money throughout the season. Options to further career by taking NVQ 3 and Diploma exams if desired.
