Duel Au Soleil makes his trip to Wetherby a winning one! Given a lovely ride by Callum Pritchard, Duel Au Soleil was cheered home by devoted groom Louise (we reckon we could hear her from Naunton Downs!) on handicap debut.
Congratulations to Ballaskiggs Racing!

Taurus Bay (Poet's Word) has big shoes to fill on the retirement of previous team captain, Shakem Up'Arry! The youngster looks like he might well be up for the challenge after a very convincing debut win for Redknapp & Hill at Statford.
Congratulations to Ash who looks after this gorgeous boy and all connections! A horse Ben has been excited to get going with this season, Kalkbrenner was brilliant on his hurdle debut at Ffos Las.
Congratulations to Mrs Penny Barker and Jeremy Palin - it looks like you might have some fun with this chap! This bonny gelding shone through the Ludlow weather this afternoon, enjoying a confident ride from our Conditional, Callum Pritchard, to bring home a well-deserved win!
A huge congratulations to The Salmon Spray Partnership, who we’re sure are raising a glass to Valda tonight. Brilliantly cared for by a very proud Molly. The Howden owned BAD returned this season meaning business. Given a brilliant ride by Ben Jones, Bad put in a spectacular round of jumping at Kempton for a victorious seasonal reappearance!
Congratulations to all connections of this infamous grey! Just Chasing May has proven variety is the spice of life with an impressive hurdle, chase, hurdle, chase unbeaten record this Summer!
A horse named after Charles May, a family friend of the Hook's who sadly passed too soon, Just Chasing May means a lot to a lot of people and to see him provide such enjoyment is very special. His fourth win this summer came at Stratford under Ben Jones and showed his progression over the bigger obstacles. Congratulations to all connections of this big horse, and enjoy your holiday May! Northern Bound — AKA Nobs, Nobby, the Nobster — what a legend!
This little horse has meant so much to so many over the years. Owned by the Kendall family, Nobby has been with us since he was a 4YO and has been part of the furniture ever since. The kind of horse who’d saddle himself if he could — a total dream to train — he’s helped build the confidence of so many of our team along the way. We’ll miss having him around, but can’t wait to see what comes next for him. Thank you, Nobs — they really don’t make many like you! |
