As the curtain comes down on the season, we can reflect on what has been a hugely successful year for Ben Pauling Racing. While the last few weeks have been a little quieter, the overall highlights of the season are nothing short of exceptional. To secure two Grade 1 victories, four Grade 2s and some big handicaps, marks this out as one of our most memorable seasons to date!
We’ve consistently sent out winners throughout the year, breaking through the £1 million prize money mark once again—a milestone that reflects the strength and depth of our team and horses. From exciting novices to seasoned campaigners, the squad has delivered on the big days and done our owners and team proud. The continued support of our owners has been instrumental to all we’ve achieved, and we are truly grateful for their faith and enthusiasm. Now, as our winter string heads off for a well-earned break in the paddocks, attention turns to our summer jumpers, who are gearing up for their moment in the spotlight. The new season brings fresh targets, new faces, and endless possibilities—we can’t wait to get going again. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. — Team BPR

Crystal Days recieves a warm welcome back into the winners enclosure from the Lee's after defying her large odds to win the bumper at Warwick!
Huge congratulations to all connections of this filly. Delighted she is heading out on her holidays a winner! Twig Finishes 10th in the Grand National – A Remarkable Day for the Morgan Family
We couldn’t be prouder of Twig, who ran his heart out to finish 10th in the 2025 Randox Grand National at Aintree – a truly monumental achievement for all involved, especially the Morgan family for whom Twig has been and continues to be sensational. Twig is owned by Georgia Morgan and ridden by her son Beau, making this a uniquely special story. The bond between horse and rider has been built over years, with Beau having ridden Twig since the very start of his career. From the point-to-point circuit to the greatest stage in jump racing, their partnership has captured hearts and delivered some incredible moments along the way. Among their career highlights so far are a thrilling win in the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter Racecourse and an outstanding performance to finish second in the Ultima Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. But Saturday’s Grand National was something else entirely – the atmosphere, the pressure, and the 30 fences that make this the ultimate test of stamina and courage. To see Twig take it all in his stride and finish in the top ten of the world’s most famous steeplechase is a credit to his heart, our team here at BPR, and the unwavering belief of the Morgan family. It was a day none of us will forget, and one that underlines just how far this special horse has come. Congratulations to Georgia, Arron, Beau, Luca and the entire team behind Twig. He did us all proud. |
