Treaty wins for The Bourtoneers

Yesterday Treaty Girl ran exceptionally well at Huntingdon to win! She was 33-1 in a hot novice hurdle, we were expecting lots of improvement after she disappointed us at Warwick, she has always pleased us with her work at home, but were pleasantly surprised to see her win by 10 lengths! Ben bought her last year at Brightwell sales, she has improved massively and has only just turned 5. She is a tough mare that is honest and keeps galloping and we were really pleased for the Bourtoneers syndicate who own her. There is still one share left in this exciting syndicate, (which also involves another horse called Emperors Hill), for more information please look on our for sale section on the website.

On Wednesday Nico was in to school Castle Cheetah (pictured) who has been doing plenty of show jumping to improve his technique and it seems to be working. He is a natural jumper who just lost his confidence a bit last time out.

Today Paddy’s Field ran at Warwick, he ran well to finish 3rd, he was carrying a penalty after his last win, but we were pleased with his efforts and will now aim him at the EBF final at Sandown.

We have no runners this weekend and next week looks a quiet one with no entries yet. We are holding tight for Cheltenham and at the moment all the horses with entries are in good order (touch wood). It is both an exciting time and a nerve racking one, but fingers crossed we can get a smooth run and get them all there in one piece.
