Brilliant Bill

On Saturday we had the first of our winter horses run at Market Rasen and he won! Boreham Bill confirmed what we had always dreamed of him and proved that he has plenty of ability by winning his first bumper by 3 and a half lengths. We have always thought a lot of this horse as he shows plenty of promise at home, it is always great when this translates to the racecourse. Although Bill was pretty green at times during the race he kept galloping and showed a gutsy attitude to get to the horse in front when turning in, he really put his head down when David asked him to lengthen which was great to see. It is also a dream come true for his owners Mike and Sue Foran as Bill is their first ever race horse who they have become very attached to, so many congratulations to them.

This week is getting a lot busier with plenty of entries and feeling more and more like the National Hunt season. Perfect Pirate is entered in a newcomers bumper at Worcester on Wednesday, Expedite has a few entries this week in handicap hurdles and the lovey Le Breuil tries to win another bumper under a penalty, this time at Carlise on Thursday. Cyrius Morivere is entered at Cheltenham and is in great order at the moment, we have a couple of others with entries there, so watch this space…..
