It was a big day for both Alex Ferguson and HIGH BRIDGE in the Listed Handicap Hurdle at Newbury and we were delighted to see both of them come through with flying colours. It was a tactical affair, with very little pace, so Alex had to make his own running and got the fractions spot on to repel the late challenge of Charli Parcs. HIGH BRIDGE jumped brilliantly up the home straight and was very strong after the last. It is very important for these young jockeys to take the opportunities they are given and Alex is certainly doing that. We will probably now wait for the Betfair Hurdle back at Newbury where HIGH BRIDGE seems very good indeed.
It's Getting Colder
Winter is definitely here and the mornings are starting to get colder. Yesterday even saw some spots of snow around the Cotswolds. Below are some photos from the first two lots today.
