14th of February

High Bridge puts in another mega performance, in the 2m Novice Hurdle at Newbury on Saturday, to make it 3 wins from 3 starts since he joined us this season. He was given a great ride by our amateur Alex Ferguson who has steered him to each one of his victories, and it seems they have formed a fantastic partnership. He was prominent throughout and disputed the lead from 2nd and travelled powerfully. He showed a great turn of foot from the back of the second last and put the race to bed very quickly. This performance has confirmed the promise he has always shown and sets him up for a tilt at either the Supreme or Neptune Novice Hurdles at the Cheltenham Festival next month. He is another very exciting individual for the future.

At Doncaster, last Thursday Creep Desbois was victorious in the 2m4f Novice Hurdle under Nico De Boinville. He was ridden patiently and tracked the leader until he joined 3 out and then led 2 out to then stay on well in the run in. He has already given his owner's the 'Slater Stockwood Nicholson Partnership' some good days without quite getting his head in front so it was good to see him put it all together on the day. He has been aimed at the EBF National Hunt Novice Hurdle at Sandown on the 11th of March, he is currently off a mark of 128. It is always nice when a plan comes together and I think this horse has an exciting future over fences as he jumps so well.

This week the entries have picked up again and we should have lots of racing ahead, with some lovely horses being seen on the track.

We will hopefully see the likes of; Two Swallows, Midnight Folie, Raven's Tower, Le Breuil, Daveron, Whin Park and Lock Towers.
