Cheltenham Half Marathon

In spite of perhaps not doing as much training as we should have, we did it! The start and finish lines were at Cheltenham Racecourse, a place that we all formerly only had fond memories of. The route wound its way through the Town Centre passing Montpellier and Landsdown, before joining the old Honeybourne Line towards Pittville and back into the Racecourse for a final lap before crossing the finish line in the paddock. We most definitely have a newfound appreciation for horses having to battle it out at Cheltenham. ?Special commendations go to:

Dave Bass – 1h29m

Freddie Woodhead -1h38m

Nathan Green – 1h47m

Matty Ingle -1h49m

Nick Whiteman -1h50m

Jason Dixon and Ben Pauling  -1h54m

Flo Wright 2h0m

Becky Buckley 2h15m

Gill Tate 2h18m

Although everyone ran very well and gave it 100% which was substantiated by the fact that we were all lame the next day (most of us have now fully recovered). We raised an unbelievable £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and Racing Welfare, thanks to your generosity.
